During the countless hours of listening to unamplified live music (concerts, operas, recitals…), in the comparison between the live music and the digitally reproduced some parameters are immediately evident…but perhaps the most important (and to a certain extent obvious) consists in the greater authenticity expressed by live music.
Beyond the classic descriptive connotations of the reproduced sound (timbre, soundstage, dynamics, etc.), we asked ourselves for a long time why digital sound remained "artificial" and substantially "false", even if it appeared, in some cases, "refined".
This question led us to investigate, with great commitment and dedication, all aspects related to the digital chain.

Our considerations in this regard led us to believe that the problem lies not so much in digital itself and per se, but in its practical implementation.
In order to obtain an "analogue" sound from digital sources, as close as possible to "musical truth", there are in fact many elements and innumerable conditions involved… unfortunately, these are all necessary, but none of them are sufficient in themselves.
Digital processing, DAC typology, output stages, filtering and power supply… everything is extremely important and decisive!
